Self-esteem  refers to the value we place on ourselves as individuals. It is common for people to experience times in their lives when they doubt themselves, question their sense of worth; wonder if they are good enough and criticise themselves in various ways.

Thinking in the ways described above, can be problematic if you find yourself doing this regularly. It can result in difficult feelings such as feeling sad, depressed, lonely, anxious or perhaps, even guilty or experiencing shame. Using a CBT approach, I can help you to challenge and change the way you think and feel about yourself, in order to enhance self-esteem, therefore living a fuller and more rewarding life.

Low Self Esteem often sits beneath most anxiety and in working with building self-esteem, it can often alleviate feelings of anxiety and instill more confidence and self-belief. In therapy, I will support you in setting goals of therapy to allow you to start working towards living YOUR best life.
